Get free, online mil spouse entrepreneurship training
Second Lady Karen Pence and the Small Business Administration are teaming up to provide a free, virtual entrepreneurship summit for military spouses on Wednesday.
Attendees will hear from a variety of panelists on such topics as access to capital, disaster preparedness, government contracting and overall entrepreneurship tips.
“The SBA is committed to helping entrepreneurial military spouses succeed at every stage of small business development,” SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza said in a news release. “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Second Lady to support military spouse entrepreneurs and help them overcome the unique business challenges they face.”
Speakers will include representatives from the Veteran Entrepreneurial Training & Resource Network, Institute for Veterans and Military Families, Dog Tag, The Rosie Network, the Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment Program and the Military Family Advisory Network. Attendees will also learn about SBA and other resources for the military small business community.
